Beyond The Break Ministries

Reach Beyond The Break Ministries (RBTB) is a unique ministry with a passion for people with addictions. Over the past decades, along with the role of technology we can improve and coordinating research work that can save lives.  Addressing issues of substance abuse, particularly the ongoing opioid epidemic, is a priority for RBTB.  Recent data [1] from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) found that the use of illicit drugs among those 12 and older has increased in the last decade, up to 10.2 percent of the population in 2014.  Only about 14 percent of adults with illicit drug dependence reported receiving substance abuse treatment in the past year. The primary purpose of our ministry is to provide a holistic approach in developing the whole person. You can think of this as different level, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. It’s the concept that the human being is multidimensional. We have conscious and unconscious aspects, rational and irrational aspects.

Further, research indicates that people with addiction often have unaddressed or inadequately addressed chronic medical conditions. RBTB is particularly interested in applications that will make broad use of the holistic approach and provide a safe haven at the counseling site.

Our goals are to provide counseling services to youth and women in crisis who have left home without permission of their parents or guardians have been forced to leave home, or other homeless youth who might end up in contact with law enforcement or in the child welfare, mental health, or juvenile justice systems.
